These Terms of Use govern your use of lawninjas.co and your participation in the Law Ninjas community, including Ninja Events, Ninja Club, Ninja Elite and the Ninja Network. The site and community are operated by Law Ninjas Pty Ltd (ABN 61 693 695 493), a company incorporated in Australia (Law Ninjas, we, us).
By using this website or participating in the community, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Law Ninjas is a global professional community for General Counsel and in-house lawyers, founded in 2017 and operated by Law Ninjas Pty Ltd from Sydney, Australia.
You may use this site for lawful purposes connected with your interest in the Law Ninjas community. You must not:
Membership of Law Ninjas, including Ninja Club and the Ninja Network, is offered at our discretion and is generally open to practising in-house lawyers and General Counsel. Membership is personal to you and may not be transferred or shared.
We may decline, suspend or end a membership where we consider it appropriate, including where these terms have been breached.
Our community works because members treat it as a safe and collegiate space. When participating in Ninja events, WhatsApp groups or the Ninja Network, you agree to:
We may remove any member who does not meet these standards.
Event details, including dates, venues, speakers and programmes, may change. We will tell you as soon as we reasonably can if an event is changed or cancelled.
Registration does not guarantee entry where capacity is reached. We may decline entry at our discretion.
You are responsible for your own travel, accommodation and any related costs, which we do not reimburse if an event changes or is cancelled.
Membership and partnership fees are set out at the point of sale and are payable in advance. Payments are processed by Stripe and ticketing by SimpleTix, each subject to their own terms.
Prices are stated in US dollars (USD). GST applies to Australian customers and is added at checkout where required.
Cancellation and refunds: The cancellation terms, notice periods and refund position for Ninja Club membership and Ninja Elite partnerships are set out in the Ninja Club Guide and the Ninja Elite Guide respectively. Those terms form part of these Terms of Use. Where a guide is silent, fees paid are non-refundable except as required by law.
Nothing in these terms limits any consumer guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law or equivalent legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Ninja Elite partnerships are governed by a separate written agreement between you and Law Ninjas. Where that agreement conflicts with these terms, that agreement prevails.
Partner benefits, including introductions, promotional posts and event packages, are described in the Ninja Elite guide and may be tailored. Introductions are made on a best-endeavours basis and we do not guarantee any commercial outcome.
All content on this site, including the Law Ninjas name and logo, the phrase Don’t Be Just a Lawyer, our guides, written content, and the design of this site, is owned by or licensed to Law Ninjas and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may view and print content for your own professional use. You may not reproduce, republish or commercially exploit it without our written permission.
Partner and sponsor names and logos remain the property of their respective owners and appear with permission.
Law Ninjas is a professional community, not a law firm. Nothing on this website, in our guides, at our events, or in our community groups constitutes legal advice, and no lawyer-client relationship arises through your participation.

We photograph and sometimes film our events, and use those images to promote the community. By attending, you consent to appearing in that material. If you would prefer not to, tell us at registration or on the day and we will respect it.
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it without notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Law Ninjas is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business or opportunity, arising from your use of this site or your participation in the community.
Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited, at our option, to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
Nothing in this clause excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
We may suspend or end your access to the site or the community at any time if you breach these terms or our community standards. Where we do so for a breach, fees already paid are not refundable except as required by law.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page with the date it was last updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
